How to Connect to the Master Inbox? The features of the Master Inbox
How to Connect to the Master Inbox?
This video Master Inbox Setup & Features explains how to connect Master Inbox to BlueMail.
The same process applies to Outlook, Missive, or any other service that supports IMAP/SMTP connections.
Master Inbox automatically detects which mailbox received a reply and routes it accordingly.
However, the sender address may vary depending on how you reply (see scenarios below).
Reply Scenarios: How Emails Are Sent from Master Inbox
Case 1: Replying to a Prospect’s Email Sent from Your Mailbox
✅ If a prospect replies to an email you sent from your personal mailbox:
- When you hit “Reply” or “Reply All” from the Master Inbox, the response will always be sent from your individual mailbox, not the Master Inbox.
- This ensures that the conversation remains personal and consistent.
Case 2: Receiving an Email Directly to Your Mailbox
✅ If you receive an email where the prospect is the initiator (i.e., they emailed your mailbox first):
- If you hit “Reply”, the response will come from the Master Inbox (xxxx@maildoso.email).
- If you hit “Reply to All” (or manually add your mailbox as a recipient), the email will be sent from your personal mailbox, making it appear as if the response came from the same address that initially received the message.
Case 3: Sending a New Email from Master Inbox
✅ If you want to send an email from the Master Inbox:
- In the “To:” field, enter the recipient’s email.
- Add your Maildoso mailbox as an additional recipient.
- When you hit send, the email will be sent from your Maildoso mailbox (not the Master Inbox).
This setup ensures flexibility in reply management while maintaining transparency for recipients.
